BSD Top Tip

Great introductory product if you're new to Vitamin C!

Good to know

C-Tetra has been formulated in a water-free formula to be 100% stable, which means that the vitamin C does not degrade over time. This ensures that your formula remains highly potent from the very first use to the final drop.

Initially I was VERY sceptical about this serum, but using it has made me think seriously about using topical antioxidants, which I wasn’t doing before. It’s easy to use and I enjoyed how my skin felt after the first two weeks. I noticed a brightening and evening of my skin tone after a month, and can only put it down to this product. For some reason, my complexion is just clearer and fresher. It’s a difference only I can see but there is no doubt in my mind my skin texture and quality has improved.

Exuviance AF Vitamin C20 Serum Capsules

product Description

A Vitamin C serum formulated to help restore firmness, smooth lines, and brighten uneven skin tone.  It is also designed to provide antioxidant protection against environmental damage, and includes a patented AminoFil® Amino Acid that has been shown to target and enhance collagen.

Dimethicone, Ascorbic Acid, Trisiloxane, Dimethiconol, Silica Dimethyl Silylate, Vinyldimethyl/Trimethylsiloxysilicate/Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Tocopheryl (Vitamin E) Acetate, Acetyl Tyrosinamide, Diethylhexyl Syringylidenemalonate, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride.

Due to the high Vitamin C percentage, mix the serum into your night time moisturiser. This will give your skin time to adjust to the potency of the serum.

Additionally you can introduce the serum into your skincare routine slowly every few days until you increase to daily use.

Good to know

Vitamin C can be quite unstable particularly once opened, so by providing each serum in individual capsules it limits exposure to destabilising light, air, and water  - while also ensuring  that it provides the right amount of product in each capsule.

I noticed more clarity in my skin tone as well as an overall radiance and glow to my skin. I have some scarring left from previous breakouts and I feel that the product is already helping to even out some of the discoloration. I also like the inclusion of AminoFil for it’s firming properties as well as Vitamin E in the serum which helps with the efficacy of the Vitamin C.

This serum felt hydrating on my skin, in fact I could use along without a moisturiser. It also absorbed easily and didn’t leave a tacky residue. It’s a pricey (wow!) but powerful product and within the first week I felt that my scars were clearing up. Also a little goes a long way.
